Unwaveringly and without question, our top priority is the health and wellbeing of our guests and employees. We are fortunate to have strong partnerships with the communities where we operate and we are closely monitoring the statements and following the guidance and recommendations from local, state/provincial and federal health agencies on cases of COVID-19.

Vail Resorts Takes Precautions for Coronavirus (COVID-19)

All Vail Resorts properties are operating normally. The health and wellbeing of our employees and guests is our top priority. As a part of that commitment, Vail Resorts is closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization’s (WHO) statements regarding novel coronavirus (COVID-2019) and following the guidelines from these agencies, as well as from local health departments where we operate resorts in the United States, Canada and Australia.

Okemo Debuts Gore Snowground Winter Play Area

Families visiting Okemo’s Jackson Gore base area for the holiday season, and through the winter, will get to experience a newly constructed play area made of snow called the Gore Snowground. The sculpted pile of snow adds an element of fun for children to enjoy when they’re not skiing or snowboarding.

Snow Blankets the Northeast to the Delight of Skiers and Snowboarders

December arrived with an early holiday gift for skiers and snowboarders living in the Northeast. Flurries on the first day of the month turned into 9 inches of snowfall at the summit of Okemo, in Vermont, and 7 inches at the summit of New Hampshire’s Mount Sunapee.

Vail Resorts Announces Mountain Division Leadership Changes

Vail Resorts today announced that Executive Vice President Chris Jarnot will step down from his role, following an impressive 34-year career with Vail Resorts. With Jarnot’s transition, and in anticipation of the closing of the Peak Resorts acquisition, the Company has announced the creation of three new regional leadership roles to support Vail Resorts’ growing global portfolio.
